Slap Vlog collects nothing. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. If you subscribe, Apple handles the payment and we never see your card details.

Nothing. Slap Vlog does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no account to create and no profile to fill in. We do not operate a server, so there is no database of ours that your data could sit in.
Slap Vlog offers an optional Slap Vlog Pro subscription for unlimited vlogs. It is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system using StoreKit. Here is exactly what that means for your privacy.
What changed: the app now asks Apple's App Store whether your Apple Account has an active Slap Vlog Pro subscription, and shows you the prices Apple returns for your storefront. That is a request to Apple, from your device, about your own purchase. It is the only network activity in the app.
What did not change: your footage still never leaves your device. There is still no server of ours, no analytics, and no tracking. We receive no personal data as part of a purchase. We never see your name, your email address, your billing address, or your card number. Apple does not give developers that information.
What we do see, and only in aggregate, is Apple's own sales reporting in App Store Connect: how many subscriptions were sold, in which countries, and how much was paid out. Those reports are counts, not people, and they cannot be traced back to an individual buyer by us.
Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one.
The takes you record are written to Slap Vlog's own private storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere. They are not readable by other apps. Nobody, including us, can see them.
If your device is set to back up to iCloud, your takes may be included in that backup, the same as other app data. That backup is between you and Apple. It does not pass through us.
There are none. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, no tracking pixels, and no third-party frameworks that phone home. Slap Vlog does not track you across apps or websites, and it collects no data linked to your identity. Buying a subscription does not switch any of this on.
Apple is the only company involved, and only as the seller of the subscription and the operator of the App Store. There are no advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics vendors and no partners. We share nothing with anyone, because we hold nothing to share.
Delete an individual take from inside the vlog, or delete a whole vlog from the home screen, and its video files are removed from the device immediately. Deleting the app removes everything Slap Vlog has stored. Because nothing is held on a server, there is no account to close and no deletion request to send us.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that separately in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Slap Vlog, or Apple will keep charging you.
Slap Vlog is safe for all ages in the sense that matters here: it collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data a company holds about you, and to opt out of its sale. Slap Vlog holds no personal data about you, and we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. Your footage is already entirely under your control on your own device. For the payment records Apple holds about your purchase, contact Apple.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that change will be stated plainly here before it ships.
