If you stop paying
If your subscription lapses, every vlog and every take you already recorded stays exactly where it is. You can still open them, watch them back, and export them to Photos. All of them.
The only thing that stops is creating a brand new vlog while you are still over the free limit. Nobody's Iceland trip gets locked up because a payment failed.

Nothing happens to it. Every vlog and every take you already recorded stays on your phone, and you can still watch, review and export all of it. The only thing that stops is starting a brand new vlog while you already have more than the free one. Footage you shot is never locked behind a payment.

On your iPhone, inside the app's own private storage. Slap Vlog has no server and never uploads your footage, so no one else can see it. The only thing the app ever talks to is Apple, to check whether your subscription is active.
That is the point of the app. Takes stay inside their vlog so your camera roll does not fill up with raw footage. When you are ready, Export joins every take into one video and saves that to Photos.

No. Slap Vlog collects no data at all. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier, and no third-party code that sends anything anywhere. Subscriptions run through Apple's own in-app purchase system, so Apple handles the payment and I never see your card details, your name or your address. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
Slap Vlog requires an iPhone running iOS 18.0 or later. It uses the camera and, if you allow it, the microphone. It asks for permission to add to your photo library only when you export a finished vlog.
