Slap Vlog is an iPhone app with one vlog free forever and an optional Slap Vlog Pro subscription for unlimited vlogs. There is no account. By using the app or this website, you agree to these terms.
Slap Vlog is developed and published by Jessyka Mathews, operating as FunnelFix, a sole proprietorship in California, United States. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
Slap Vlog is a camera for multi-day vlogs. You create a vlog project, record takes into it, review or delete takes, and optionally export the takes stitched into one video saved to your photo library. All footage stays on your device. We operate no server and never receive your footage. The only network activity in the app is Apple's own in-app purchase system checking your subscription status.
Subject to these terms, you may download and use Slap Vlog on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement and any rules Apple applies to apps distributed through the App Store. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
Slap Vlog does not require an account, and you do not need to pay to use it. Without a subscription you get one vlog project, with unlimited takes inside it, day grouping, review and delete, and full export of that vlog to your photo library. The free version is not a trial. It is not time-limited and it does not expire.
Slap Vlog Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. It unlocks one thing: unlimited simultaneous vlog projects. Everything else in the app works the same either way.
Prices above are in US dollars for the United States storefront. Prices in other storefronts are set by Apple's pricing tiers and may differ. The price you will actually be charged is always shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.
We may change subscription prices. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Apple notifies you and asks for your consent where its rules require it before charging a higher price on renewal.
Apple sells the subscription and processes every payment. We cannot issue refunds, see your payment method, or reverse a charge. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple's decision seems wrong, write to us anyway at hello@slapforge.com and we will help where we can.
This part matters, so it is stated plainly. If your subscription lapses, expires, or you cancel it, you keep full read, playback and export access to every vlog and every take you have already recorded. All of them, however many there are.
The only thing you lose is the ability to create a new vlog while you are at or over the one-vlog free limit. Footage you already shot never becomes unreachable because a payment stopped.
Because there is no account, your subscription is tied to your Apple Account. On a new device, or after reinstalling, use Restore Purchases in the app and sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. No sign-up with us is required at any point.
You own the video and audio you record with Slap Vlog. We do not host it, upload it, or receive a copy of it. You are responsible for what you record and for how you share anything you export. Do not use the app to record or distribute content you are not allowed to create or share.

How privacy works for Slap Vlog is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: the app collects no personal data, we run no server, and your subscription is handled by Apple, so we never see your payment details.
Slap Vlog is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every export will succeed on every device configuration.
You are responsible for keeping copies of footage you care about. Deleting a take, a vlog, or the app itself can permanently remove footage that exists only on the device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jessyka Mathews / FunnelFix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Slap Vlog or this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app or these terms will not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the total subscription fees attributable to Slap Vlog that you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limits apply only to the extent allowed, and nothing in these terms takes away a statutory consumer right you have where you live.
We may update these terms. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the app or website after the new date means you accept the updated terms. If a future version of the app adds accounts, new purchases, or network features, those changes will be reflected here before they ship.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts located in Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring claims in your local courts.
You acknowledge that these terms are between you and Jessyka Mathews / FunnelFix only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent any warranty is not effectively disclaimed, Apple's sole warranty obligation is a refund of the App Store purchase price (if any). Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, or claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation. Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging any third-party intellectual-property infringement claim. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
